Nivoda is looking for a Head of Corporate Finance to assist the CFO in corporate finance and analytical tasks. The role is based in Amsterdam and you will be reporting directly to the CFO, Bas Lustenhouwer (https://www.linkedin.com/in/bas-lustenhouwer-a3997145/). Duties will include maintaining KPI dashboards, studying financial and operational data and helping our team make the right strategic decisions based on your evaluation, assisting in fundraising and assisting in strategic projects such as Nivoda’s supplier and buyer lending programmes. You will also be responsible for assessing and executing M&A opportunities, and developing and implementing the company's financial strategy in accordance with the company's overall strategy and goals.

What you’ll do:
- Scope and structure Nivoda Capital, building out Nivoda’s in-house invoice factoring solution and get this operation ready to process over USD 100,000,000 annually within 12 months from joining.
- Engage with and negotiate with banks to set up structured financing for Nivoda Capital. Evaluate and optimise the cost of capital.
- Identify opportunities for growth and calculate NPV and ROI
- Evaluate potential acquisitions and execute transactions
- Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in accordance with the company overall strategy and goals
- Assist key stakeholders within the company by providing financial insights and report on KPIs
- Assist other teams with financial questions and research
- Track data to determine actual performance versus forecast data
- Analyse financial data and prepare reports with insights, trends and recommended actions for management
- Working capital analysis
- Maintain relations with VC investor community

What you’ll need:
- A master's degree with an outstanding academic track record, preferably in finance, accounting or business.
- 6-10 years of experience in corporate finance, consulting or analytics with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, ideally within a global organisation.
- Excellent quantitative skills
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Resilient and adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Great eye for detail
- Good level of English, Dutch not required
- International experience will be an advantage
- Advanced knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Knowledge of analytics tools like SQL and Tableau
- Data-driven problem solver
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
